Edge DC have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Legal Specialist for support our business.

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have:

  • Bachelor Degree in Law from a reputable university
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of full time, relevant experience, preferably with experience in a law firm and a company in the same business field.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa, both written and verbal
  • Strong background in general corporate law and regulatory analysis
  • Proven negotiating and drafting skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to build relationships with Users and internal departments.
  • Experienced with Government Relation

The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Contract Management and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate terms in agreements with vendors, customers, and business partners.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to interpret contract terms, negotiate details, and manage legal aspects of business operations.
  • Legal Advisory: Provide clear, pragmatic legal advice on issues affecting business operations.
  • Legal Administration: Assist in tasks such as filing, submission, and reporting of legal data, including licenses, periodic reports, permits, approvals, etc.
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on regulatory updates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Professional Liaison: Coordinate with law firms, corporate secretaries, public notaries, external lawyers, and government authorities on legal and corporate matters.
  • Operational Execution: Ensure the timely and reliable execution of day-to-day legal activities.
  • Corporate Governance Support: Assist in organizing and conducting Annual and Extraordinary General Meetings of Shareholders.
  • Direct Reporting: Directly report to the Head of Legal.
