Job Summary
The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing end-to-end logistics and distribution operations, ensuring efficient movement, storage, and delivery of raw materials and finished goods. This role plays a key part in supporting production timelines, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring timely delivery to customers and partners.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Oversee warehouse management, transportation, inventory control, and material handling activities.
- Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and sales teams to align logistics strategies with business needs.
- Manage fleet operations and relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Ensure compliance with logistics regulations, workplace safety, and environmental standards.
- Continuously improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Track and report logistics KPIs to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics, preferably within valves manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management, and ERP solutions.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
