Quality Manager

Location: Bandung – Engineering Office
Project Work Sites: All Indonesia
Level: Senior Level

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to oversee project works and ensure the implementation of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards across our engineering and infrastructure projects, with a focus on waste to energy and renewable energy project facilities, such as biogas plants.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Other Engineering disciplines).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in Quality Management (QM) for engineering projects; Utilising QM system for reporting on engineering project works. QM experience on project site works, such as on biogas plants or renewable energy projects, shall be an advantage.
Technical Skills
  • Competence to read and interpret general engineering and technical drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Essential knowledge on general engineering procedures, construction materials, welding quality & procedures, piping assembly, jointing, pressure testing, fabrication standards are expected.
  • Certifications/Qualifications in QM systems.
  • QA/QC implementation and monitoring experience on engineering project works would be an advantage.
Soft Skills
  • Good organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Proficiency in computer skills such as MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, and cloud‑based systems (e.g., OneDrive).
Mobility
  • Travelling to and residing at work sites for short durations will be required to deliver the job function effectively.
  • Should possess a valid driving license.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP), inspection and test plans (ITPs), and QA/QC procedures.
  • Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, drawings, and codes.
  • Coordinate quality control activities between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and root cause analysis on site and provide corrective/preventive action plans.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, piping layouts, P&IDs, and material specifications to ensure quality compliance.
  • Manage documentation related to material certificates, test results, and QA/QC records for project handover.
  • Support commissioning and handover stages by verifying quality documentation and punch‑list closures.
  • Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and subcontractors to maintain a high standard of workmanship.
  • Report project quality performance and non‑conformance issues to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory safety and environmental standards.
