Summary :
The Procurement Analyst is a vital role in ensuring the company acquires goods, services, and materials in a cost-effective and efficient manner. You will be responsible for researching potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing the procurement process from start to finish. This is a key position in the supply chain management process, and you will work closely with various departments across the organization.

Responsibilities :

  • Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for supplier consolidation
  • Research and identify qualified potential suppliers for various goods and services
  • Develop and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to solicit bids from vendors.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and quotations based on factors such as price, quality, delivery time, and past performance.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions with vendors to secure the best possible deal for the company.
  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update supplier databases and information.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contract terms.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities and cost savings achieved.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and industry best practices in procurement.
  • May participate in cross-functional teams to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Provide assistance in analyzing and developing improved policies, plans, methods, procedures, and systems of acquisition management programs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with procurement software (SAP B1/ERP) a plus.
  • Knowledge of best practices in procurement is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
