Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies for raw materials (e.g., green coffee, milk powder, sugar, flavorings), packaging materials, and production equipment.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
Monitor market trends, especially for coffee beans and other commodity ingredients.
Vendor & Supplier Management:Source reliable local and international suppliers to ensure quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations (cost, quality, delivery).
- Manage vendor onboarding and ensure all certifications (e.g., Fairtrade, Organic, HACCP) are up to date.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze purchasing data to improve cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
- Forecast material requirements in collaboration with production and sales teams.
Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:
Ensure consistent supply of ingredients and packaging materials to avoid production downtime.
- Work closely with logistics, warehousing, and production to optimize inventory levels (JIT, safety stock).
- Use ERP or procurement systems to manage POs, inventory tracking, and vendor data.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with food safety standards, import/export regulations, and internal SOPs.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, delivery schedules, and invoices.
- Ensure traceability of all raw materials, especially coffee origin and sustainability certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in coffee manufacturing or F&B.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing agricultural products (especially green coffee) and food-grade packaging.
- Experience working with international suppliers and understanding of import/export processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
