Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies for raw materials (e.g., green coffee, milk powder, sugar, flavorings), packaging materials, and production equipment.

  • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, especially for coffee beans and other commodity ingredients.

  • Vendor & Supplier Management:Source reliable local and international suppliers to ensure quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing

  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations (cost, quality, delivery).

  • Manage vendor onboarding and ensure all certifications (e.g., Fairtrade, Organic, HACCP) are up to date.
  • Cost Control & Budgeting:

  • Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Analyze purchasing data to improve cost-efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Forecast material requirements in collaboration with production and sales teams.
  • Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Ensure consistent supply of ingredients and packaging materials to avoid production downtime.

  • Work closely with logistics, warehousing, and production to optimize inventory levels (JIT, safety stock).
  • Use ERP or procurement systems to manage POs, inventory tracking, and vendor data.
  • Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with food safety standards, import/export regulations, and internal SOPs.

  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation, including contracts, delivery schedules, and invoices.
  • Ensure traceability of all raw materials, especially coffee origin and sustainability certifications.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in coffee manufacturing or F&B.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing agricultural products (especially green coffee) and food-grade packaging.
  • Experience working with international suppliers and understanding of import/export processes.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP, etc.).
