About the role
Indonesia Bole Yuma Human Resources Group is seeking an experienced EXIM Staff to join our dynamic team in Jakarta. As an EXIM Staff, you will play a crucial role in managing the import and export operations of our organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and facilitating seamless logistics. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the success of our company's international trade initiatives.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and processing all import and export documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and other shipping documents
- Liaising with various stakeholders, such as freight forwarders, customs authorities, and suppliers, to ensure the timely and efficient movement of goods
- Monitoring and analysing import and export data, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant trade regulations, including tariffs, trade agreements, and export controls
- Assisting in the development and implementation of export and import strategies to support the company's business objectives
- Providing customer support and responding to inquiries related to international trade operations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline logistics and enhance the overall customer experience
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in EXIM or logistics operations, preferably within the manufacturing, transportation, or logistics industry
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and import/export documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Familiarity with relevant software and IT systems used in international trade and logistics management
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal. Mandarin point plus
