Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of company assets, primarily focusing on shipping containers (dry, reefer, tank), intermodal chassis, gensets, or port equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of containers and equipment in accordance with company, industry (e.g., IICL, CSC), and safety standards.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and structural issues accurately and efficiently, perform quality control checks on third-party repairs to ensure work meets specifications.
  • Perform and oversee a wide range of repairs, Chassis and undercarriage repairs (brakes, lights, tires), Execute preventative maintenance (PM) schedules to extend equipment lifespan and prevent failures.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
  • Accurately document all inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities in the company's computerized maintenance management system, Prepare detailed repair estimates and reports for internal and external stakeholders, Ensure all work complies with international regulations, including the Convention for Safe Containers (CSC), and company safety protocols, and Manage parts inventory, requisition necessary materials, and control repair costs.
  • Adhere strictly to all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and company-specific safety policies, Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance repair quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements
:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or any related major
  • Have experiences in the same role at least 5 years
  • Have experiences to lead a team
  • Proficient in English
  • Willing to be placed at Head Office, Surabaya
