IT SUPPORT STAFF

Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide support for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot network and system problems.
- Respond to IT-related inquiries and resolve technical issues.
Installation & Configuration:
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and software.
- Set up and configure new hardware (computers, printers, etc.).
Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance of systems and network equipment.
- Ensure security protocols and software updates are applied.
User Assistance:
- Assist employees with IT-related issues like password resets, access problems, etc.
- Provide training and guidance on using software and systems effectively.
Network Management:
- Monitor and troubleshoot network connections, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Set up and manage Wi-Fi networks and local area networks (LANs).
System Monitoring and Security:
- Monitor the health of systems, databases, and network infrastructure.
- Perform regular backups and data recovery procedures.
- Implement and enforce security measures like firewalls, antivirus software, and encryption.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and resolutions.
- Document technical procedures and FAQs for internal reference.
Collaboration with IT Team:
- Work closely with other IT staff or departments for larger projects or system upgrades.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the organization's IT infrastructure.
Problem Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software malfunctions and network problems in a timely manner.
- Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary.
Qualification :
1. Education:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- D3 or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is also acceptable.
2. Experience:
- Minimum 5 year experience in IT Support or related position.
- Experience in using technology and software relevant to the position.
3. Skills:- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze technical issues.
- Ability to communicate well and provide support to users.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
4. Knowledge:- Knowledge of Windows server, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
- Knowledge of application software such as Microsoft Office 365.
- Knowledge of computer networks TCP IP, Routing, Switching, & Firewall.
- Knowledge of computer security and data privacy.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script Programming Languages.
- Knowledge of CI (Code Igniter) / Laravel Framework.
- Knowledge of MySQL/MySQLi, Oracle, PostgreDB, MongoDB Database.
5. Certification:- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
- Other certifications such as Cisco CCNA or MTCNA, Microsoft MCSA, or VMware VCP are also a plus.
6. Language Skills:
- Good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Good command of Indonesian, both spoken and written.
7. Physical Skills:- Ability to work in an office environment and perform work that requires sitting and standing for long periods of time.
