About the role
We are seeking a skilled DevOps engineer to join our team at PT Inovasi Adiwarna Raya in Surabaya, East Java. As a DevOps engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating and streamlining our software development and deployment processes, helping us to deliver high-quality solutions more efficiently.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Manage Docker containers and orchestration tools such as ECS or EKS (Kubernetes)
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK)
- Optimize infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Ensure security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network isolation
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments and operations
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Document systems, architecture, and processes clearly
- Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in DevOps, Cloud, or System Administration is required.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating a strong engineering passion.
Core Skills (Minimum 3 Years Experience):
- Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, CloudFront, Route 53, IAM)
- Strong Linux system administration and shell scripting skills
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CodePipeline)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of networking, load balancing, and security within AWS
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
