About the role
- As part of Next Level footprint strategy and supply network optimization, BC will build new Greenfield sites and fit-for-purpose Brownfield projects. The BCOS GF Leader will guide the project team and develop with the local management team the new organization, technical capabilities and deployment of the BCOS work process to ensure full compliance with the BCOS program in terms of organization design and ways of working.
- The critical delivery of the role is to create a high-performance and fully capable SC organization that achieves Vertical Start-Up (VSU) status and drives continuous improvement eliminating losses across the whole value chain, in line with site targets and objectives.
- Extensive experience in implementing lean/TPM programs at blue‑chip companies and experience with TPM Early Management methodology in start‑up initiatives.
- Provide guidance on setting up a project team aimed at delivering VSU with assets designed and operated at Autonomous Maintenance Step 3/Progressive Maintenance Step 4 as per the BCOS pillar structure. Work with the Plant Manager and Project Team to produce the project and startup master plan with start‑up targets/objectives, covering SC balanced scorecards across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment.
- Primarily allocated to GF Site support, with travel for global meetings and site support – 10 to 30%.

- Bachelor/Master degree required, preferably in Engineering
- Advanced level of English
- Clear ability to understand business needs, and develop and deploy a strategy to reach business goals
- In-depth expertise in Continuous Improvement methodologies, such as TPS, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and High-Performance Organization
- Ability to work with ambiguity, breakthrough thinking, keep people accountable and direct others
- Extensive experience in the practical implementation of TPM, including the application of the Early Management Pillar
- Experience in senior operations roles – Site Engineer, Plant Management - is seen as a differential for this role
- Places as highest priority the Safety of people, process and product
- Demonstrated ability to influence and facilitate change across the whole organization
- Strong working knowledge of Cultural and Management of Changes
- Extensive software capability including Google Environment, Excel, Word, Minitab (or other statistical software) and MS Projects. Knowledge and experience in the use of SAP ERP systems are desirable skills.
- Exceptional coaching, communication, interpersonal & leadership skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cultural and Management Changes, practitioner of Continuous Improvement methodology such as TPM, Lean Manufacturing essential (Six Sigma seen as a plus)
- Experience in project management and governance systems
- Strong influencing skills, and ability to direct the BCOS program without formal authority over organization leaders.
- Experience in leading areas of Supply Chain, such as Manufacturing Operations, Planning, Logistic/Distribution and Procurement
- Capable of supporting make-or-buy studies and analysis for the construction of business cases (brownfield and/or greenfield)
