Qualifications :
- Education of Associate's (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor in construction projects (buildings, infrastructure, or industrial).
- Fluent Mandarin
- Able to create machinery maintenance schedules (both preventive and corrective maintenance).
- Proficient in reading technical (mechanical) drawings and machinery specifications.
- Knowledgeable in hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and basic machine electrical systems.
- Skilled in analyzing mechanical failures and providing repair solutions on-site.
- Capable of leading technician/field teams and coordinating with other departments (logistics, operations, and engineering).
- Competent in technical administration: creating machine condition reports, logbooks, and equipment usage records.
- Detail-oriented, firm, and possesses strong leadership qualities.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise the operation of machinery and heavy equipment at the project site to ensure compliance with procedures and safety standards.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of machines before they are used in construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and heavy equipment to identify potential damage or wear.
- Create and implement regular maintenance schedules (preventive maintenance) and handle repairs (corrective maintenance) when issues arise.
- Analyze the causes of machine breakdowns and provide fast and effective technical solutions.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on machine conditions, equipment usage, and spare part needs.
- Manage work schedules and assignments for mechanical/equipment technicians, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other project teams, including logistics, safety, and operations, to support smooth project execution.
- Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) procedures during machine operation and maintenance.
- Manage spare part inventory and supporting equipment at the project site.
- Actively participate in the mobilization and demobilization process of heavy equipment to and from the project site.
