ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Assist in design & development of new products
- Assist in investigating and implementing improvements to existing product range
- Assist in overseeing external testing of products
- Assist in training sales and appropriate internal staff in technical aspects of lighting and product knowledge
- Assist sales and clients with technical queries
- Support and provide technical documentation to the Operations Manager (OM)
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, or a similar field
- Experience in designing and developing products would be an advantage
- Fresh graduates with design competition experience are welcome to apply
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge in Solidworks and/or Autodesk Inventor
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Indesign
- Understanding of 3D design and 3D printing
- Ability to work to project deadlines
- High level of attention to detail
