Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Cook Staff located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Cook Staff will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring ingredients are fresh and proper kitchen hygiene is maintained. Day-to-day tasks include following standardized recipes, chopping and slicing vegetables, meats, and fish, organizing kitchen stock, and assisting with menu planning. Additionally, the Cook Staff will collaborate with other kitchen staff and support maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Minimum 1 years of Cook experience.
- Advanced knowledge of hygiene, mise en place, and storing
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and menus
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and commited to serve great quality product
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar role is desirable
