Tzu Chi School is seeking an experienced and passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will inspire and educate students in Mandarin language and culture, while fostering their communication skills and appreciation for diversity.
Location: Tzu Chi School PIK 2, Teluknaga, Banten
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mandarin, Education, or related field.
- Proficiency in Mandarin (native or near-native level).
- Teaching certification (e.g., TCSOL, ETC) is a must.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience preferred, ideally with children or teenagers.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching and inspiring students to learn a new language and culture.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum standards.
- Teach Mandarin language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to students of varying proficiency levels.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning needs and styles.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Organize cultural activities and events to enrich students' understanding of Chinese culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' academic and personal growth.
- Participate in professional development sessions and school activities as required.
