The
Executive, LEAF
plays a critical hands-on role in supporting the execution of tobacco leaf operation activities at the factory level. This role is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and documentation of tobacco samples and trial activities to ensure tobacco purchases are in good order.
Working under the direction of the Manager, Blending the Leaf Executive provides day-to-day support in tobacco leaf samples coordination/maintenance, smoke evaluations, visual inspection, incoming tobacco inspection reports, new item code creation, raise E-PRs and clickup.
This role requires strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and a technical foundation in tobacco or a related field.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Tobacco Leaf Offer Sample Support
- Assist in the preparation and execution of received offer samples trial.
- Coordinate with Blenders for visual inspection and QA for Lab analysis (NIC & RS)
- Collect and record trial data of QA lab test analysis and prepare factory Blenders's smoke evaluation reports.
- Prepare the cigarette sample and despatch to HQ for HQ Blenders's and CEO smoke evaluation.
- Monitor and ensure the proper handing, storage of all tobacco master samples in factory sample room.
- Update the logistics sample tracking app and clickup.
2. New Item Code creation and Raise E-PR
- Fill up the new item code creation form and send to NAV support team.
- Raise PR in EPR system.
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of documents in the designated document control system.
- Create new task in clickup.
3. Tobacco Leaf Redrawn Sample Support
- Coordinate with suppliers for redrawn samples.
- Coordinate with Blenders for visual inspection and QA for Lab analysis.
- Monitor and ensure the proper handing, storage of all master samples in factory sample room.
- Arrange the master sample to SIC and TL (Vietnam) for suppliers' direct shipment.
- Update the logistics sample tracking app and clickup.
4. Incoming Tobacco Leaf Shipments
- Monitor all incoming shipments.
- Ensure data accuracy of suppliers's COA.
- Coordinate with Blenders for visual inspection and QA for Lab analysis.
- Prepare Incoming Tobacco Leaf Inspection Reports
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness in line with internal standards and protocols.
- Send the inspected summary to suppliers and HQ finance include fumigation, short-weight, conformance/non-conformance.
- Consolidate SIC/TL inspection reports and send to HQ finance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in agriculture, Tobacco Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in tobacco industry or similar manufacturing field.
- Has hands-on experience with product sampling, quality checks, or leaf processing.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
- Eager to grow in the tobacco leaf supply chain or operations space.
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of tobacco leaf processing, cigarette blending, smoke evaluation, and specification management.
- Knowledge of tobacco sample preparation, grading, and visual inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with quality documentation, incoming tobacco inspection reports, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ClickUp for task coordination.
