Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center, telecommunications, or network infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of whitespace management (data hall, suite, cage, cabinet) and connectivity (MMR, dark fiber, ducts, pathways).
- Basic understanding of data center electrical systems (PDU, RPP, circuit, load balancing).
- Experience in technical design, validation, and project documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teams and customers.
- Intermediate proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in ISP or telco industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Site or Campus Subject Matter Expert for Whitespace & Connectivity
- Manage inventory for all space (data hall, suite, cage, cabs, circuits, weights) and connectivity (inter MMR, site Dark Fiber, Ducts, Pathways) within assigned buildings.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for both whitespace and connectivity, ensuring customer requirements are met.
Technical Leadership
- Perform CPQ reviews and approvals as applicable.
- Support customer RFPs and RFIs collaborating with the SE.
- Conduct onsite validation, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
- Submit Scope of Work clarifications to the SE or customer, as necessary.
- Provide customer floor plans and detailed designs for whitespace and connectivity to the SE or customer.
- Perform electrical load balancing for PDU, RPP, and circuit assignments with SE and Energy Management support for complex balancing.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with the local SE to ensure proper technical implementation.
- Organize and lead Technical Specification Reviews (TSR) with customers, SE, and Global or Strategic Account SE.
- Issue the complete Engineering pack validated by SE to DE&C, and Implementation Services teams.
Project Delivery
- Complete detailed designs for whitespace, telecom, connectivity, office, and storage.
- Review and validate Cost Estimation Desk's NRCs for whitespace Scope of Work and provide to SE and customer.
