I'm excited to share a part-time remote co-founder opportunity with Sejati Technologies, an Indonesian based startup passionate about using technology and economic-driven models to empower communities and improve lives .
About Sejati Technologies
We aim to build better, fairer local economies that are profitable for all. Our values are collaboration, integrity, and practical value creation. Currently, we are in the pre-product-market fit stage, validating the market, problem, and solution space, with the goal of building an MVP and serving our initial niche users.
Important disclosure to manage your expectations
The project's pathway is to be initially lean with good business model fundamentals (positive cash flow) with a chance to be scalable i.e., growth mode.
Think of this initially as a side-project we would be working on together and eventually pay each others' salaries

I myself have been supporting a growth-stage and VC-funded tech company to effectively scale its activities, my background has been in strategy and finance (also leading some projects in marketing).
Chief of Technology Role
- Lead the architecture and development of the MVP (back-end and front-end); shipping fast, accepting some technical debt where needed
- Design and manage a scalable relational database (such as PostgreSQL or others)
- Build and maintain the backend logic and cloud infra management
- Oversee basic SLAs, security/compliance, and DevOps (Docker, Git, etc.)
- Coordinate or delegate to freelance devs, interns, or future hires as needed
Who We're Looking For
- 5–8 years hands-on software engineering experience (including some leadership)
- Great track record in building and shipping full-stack products (SaaS, CRUD apps, PWAs)
- Strong backend skills , Python, Go, Firebase, etc.)
- Comfortable with frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Flutter, etc.)
- DevOps-savvy with cloud infrastructure, systems/workflow design, and API integration
- Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, Midtrans, Xendit, etc.) and logistics APIs (Grab, Gojek, JNE, etc.)
- Bonus: fintech or e-commerce experience
- Willing to allocate: 7–10 hours/week
- Integrity and a
good moral compass - Leadership potential and ability to delegate effectively
What the CEO Will Handle
- Customer and product development
- Marketing, customer acquisition, and go-to-market execution
- Strategic partnerships and ecosystem building
- Financial modeling and operational finance
- Capital raising and investor engagement (where relevant)
- SOP and internal systems development
- Recruiting non-technical people
- Overall strategy execution outside of tech
