We are seeking a motivated
Quantity Surveyor
with at least 1 year of experience to join our team for a Data Center construction project. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for assisting in cost planning, estimation, and financial control to ensure the project is delivered within budget while meeting the required quality and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents.
- Support the evaluation of subcontractor quotations, bids, and proposals.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to management.
- Assist in contract administration, variation orders, and claims management.
- Conduct site measurements and verify progress for payment certification.
- Collaborate with project team (engineering, procurement, and construction) to ensure accurate cost tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum
1 year of working experience
as a QS in construction projects (data center, industrial, or commercial building projects preferred). - Familiar with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD (experience with QS software such as CostX or Cubicost is an advantage).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
