Role Description

This is a contract role for a Technical Lead on behalf of our client, located on-site in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing project development, managing technical teams, ensuring the quality of IT services, and implementing robust IT solutions. Day-to-day tasks include supervising software development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing code reviews, and integrating agile practices to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Requirements – IT Technical Lead (Multi-Finance Project)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in a
    leadership or senior IT infrastructure role
    .
  • Experience in
    multi-finance, banking, or financial services IT systems
    preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of
    IT infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, virtualization, cloud)
    .
  • Experience managing
    core applications in multi-finance systems
    (Loan Origination System, Loan Management System, Collection System, SLIK/OJK reporting).
  • Proficiency in
    databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
    and data backup/recovery management.
  • Familiarity with
    API integrations, middleware, and secure data exchanges
    with banking/fintech partners.
  • Good understanding of
    cybersecurity standards, identity & access management, endpoint protection, and disaster recovery (BCP/DRP)
    .
  • Hands-on with
    cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
    and hybrid on-prem/cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of
    compliance frameworks
    : OJK regulations, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, data privacy.
  • Experience with
    DevOps, CI/CD tools, and IT service management (ITIL/COBIT)
    is a plus.

Job Responsibilities – IT Technical Lead (Multi-Finance Project)

IT Infrastructure & System Delivery

  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of
    IT infrastructure
    supporting multi-finance applications.
  • Ensure high
    availability, scalability, and security
    of core financial systems (LOS, LMS, Collections, Reporting).
  • Oversee integration with
    banking systems, payment gateways, credit bureaus, and OJK/BI reporting platforms
    .
  • Manage system upgrades, patching, and technology refresh cycles.

IT Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure IT operations comply with
    OJK regulations, BI requirements, and audit standards
    .
  • Implement and maintain
    security controls, data privacy policies, and access management
    .
  • Prepare and manage
    SLIK/credit bureau reporting and regulatory IT submissions
    .
  • Establish IT policies aligned with
    ISO 27001 and ITIL/COBIT best practices
    .

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead IT teams (system administrators, network engineers, IT support, database admins).
  • Mentor junior IT staff and promote continuous skill development.
  • Coordinate with development teams and vendors for smooth system implementation.
  • Serve as the
    technical escalation point
    for IT incidents and project challenges.

Risk Management & Business Continuity

  • Design and oversee
    disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans (BCP)
    .
  • Conduct regular
    IT risk assessments
    and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure timely resolution of critical IT issues to minimize business impact.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate and recommend new
    technologies to support digital transformation
    in multi-finance (cloud adoption, RPA, AI credit scoring).
  • Optimize IT infrastructure for
    performance, cost-efficiency, and security
    .
  • Drive automation initiatives to streamline IT operations and reduce downtime.
