Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia, an executive recruitment company, is recruiting on behalf of a leading multinational compressors company. As part of their continued expansion, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Territory Sales Manager with a proven track record in compressor sales. The position will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Country Manager, overseeing territory sales operations and execution.
- Develop, implement, and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share, attract new customers, and retain existing accounts.
- Manage and coordinate sales strategies, conducting market research to assess the viability and competitiveness of products and services.
- Provide sales support and technical advice on a wide range of compressor products, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management to set budgets, define sales targets, and monitor performance against objectives.
- Formulate pricing strategies that balance profitability and market competitiveness.
- Partner with marketing teams to ensure sales and promotional strategies drive profitability and long-term business results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical/commercial field from a reputable university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with strong exposure to compressor products in a multinational environment.
- Solid expertise in compressor solutions and a well-established customer base across industrial, mining, and project-driven sectors.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to forecast trends, identify challenges, and propose innovative solutions.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, pricing, and profitability strategies effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and methodologies.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
