Responsibilities

  • Supervise Accounting, Costing, and Tax functions
  • Ensure reporting compliance with Indonesia local accounting standards for statutory accounts
  • Handle reporting under IFRS (PSAK) rules, including completion and review of monthly balance sheet reconciliations with accurate support
  • Oversee issuance of financial information and reporting of results to senior management and stakeholders
  • Manage the end-to-end month-end close process across the finance function
  • Handle annual and interim audits, ensuring fairness and compliance with all applicable financial regulations
  • Experienced in handling tax courts will be an advantage
  • Maintain strong governance and safeguard the integrity of company funds
  • Arrange debt and equity financing as required
  • Drive and maintain a robust control environment within the organization
  • Monitor all open tax issues involving the company, including those under litigation
  • Ensure proper and timely preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation
  • Ensure timely submission of tax payments, returns, and resolution of disputes
  • Ensure compliance with new tax regulations in a timely manner
  • Build a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability
  • Lead preparation, monitoring, and analysis of annual budgets and cost controls
  • Identify, assess, and manage key financial and regulatory risks affecting the company
  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial operations

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, including exposure in Big 4 Audit firms and/or multinational companies
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CMA qualification is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, for professional correspondence
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, costing, taxation, and internal control
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of proficiency in written and oral English
  • High integrity with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven management experience within a group of companies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience collaborating with executive teams
  • Resourceful and energetic, with strong attention to detail on strategic matters
  • Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team, fostering departmental and company harmony
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet demanding deadlines
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link financial insights to commercial and strategic decisions
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP/financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and strong Excel skills
  • Solid understanding of Indonesian financial regulations and statutory compliance requirements
  • Experience in managing audits, tax matters, and liaison with external regulators or government authorities
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and implement best practices in finance functions
