Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of previous experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques.
- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and quality standards relevant to construction projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using computer software for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
- Relevant certifications are preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Willing to work in the Pasuruan site.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, materials, and finished structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
- Document inspection findings, including deviations from specifications and non-compliance issues, and communicate them effectively to project managers, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor construction activities to identify potential quality problems and work proactively with project teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
- Review construction plans, drawings, and specifications to verify accuracy and identify potential quality concerns before construction begins.
- Perform tests and measurements on construction materials, such as concrete, steel, and asphalt, to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with third-party testing agencies to conduct specialized tests and inspections as required by project specifications.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and equipment to the construction site.
- Provide guidance and training to construction personnel on quality control procedures, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Participate in project meetings, quality audits, and reviews to address quality-related issues, discuss improvement opportunities, and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
