Role Overview:
One of our clients is hiring for a Mechanical Engineer to join a leading technology and managed services company, supporting a hyperscale data center project.
In this role, you'll oversee the design review, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems — including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, HVAC, pumps, piping, and fire protection systems. You'll work closely with MEP and construction teams to ensure system performance, safety, and compliance with data center standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review mechanical design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Supervise installation and testing of HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and ducting
- Coordinate chilled water systems, ventilation, and fire protection with electrical and control teams
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance validation of mechanical systems
- Monitor contractor work for safety, quality, and schedule adherence
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and inspection checklists
Key Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Data Center, Industrial, or High-Rise projects
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Hands-on experience with chiller systems, cooling towers, CRAH/CRAC, and fire suppression systems
- Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and NFPA standards
- Familiar with BMS integration and chilled water balancing
- Strong documentation and coordination skills
- Immediate availability preferred
