Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, equipment, and components.
- Conduct technical analysis, calculations, and material selection to ensure design reliability.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machines, equipment, and production facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, production, quality, HSE) to ensure project success.
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with safety standards, quality requirements, and regulations.
- Provide recommendations for energy efficiency, performance improvement, and cost reduction.
- Handle, supervise and the implementation of minor fit out or ad-hoc project or corrective/ad-hoc maintenance related to mechanical infrastructure of the existing data center footprints with vendor/OEM.
- Coordinate with Shift Team for any activities occurs.
- On hand to resolve Data Center operations problems impacting mechanical infrastructure.
- Review design for Mechanical Infrastructure Project (Expansion/Corrective)
- Assist Lead Engineer to perform his/her duties.
- Execute and complete all task assigned by the Company.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer (fresh graduates may be considered for junior level).
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical analysis, thermodynamics, materials, and piping systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and create technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to travel to project/sites when required.
