Supervise and drive the execution of continuous improvement initiatives across production, quality, and supply chain areas. This role plays a key part in the deployment of BMOS (Beiersdorf Manufacturing Operating System) and Manex pillars, enabling effective operations and performance enhancement in Production Centre. The CI Supervisor will also coach CI Associates, lead improvement projects, and support cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibility:
- Lead implementation of BMOS key elements (Daily/Monthly Reviews, Focused Improvement Teams, Visual Factory, Coaching & Mentoring).
- Ensure 5S+Safety implementation as the foundation of all CI activities across departments
- Supervise and mentor CI Associates in executing Manex Pillar.
- Assist facilitator in conducting problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Coordinate and monitor kaizen events and improvement initiatives
- Track CI KPIs, ensure data accuracy, and generate analysis
- Drive visual management implementation to support "management by walking around" (Gemba culture)
- Conduct CI training and on-the-job coaching aligned with competence building and pillar maturity
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Preferably 3 years in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, TPM or Process Engineering
- Practical knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, SMED, Kaizen, VSM, and Autonomous Maintenance
- Familiar with BMOS structure and Manex 7 Pillars deployment (e.g., Focus Improvement, Planned Maintenance, Competence Management)
- Skilled in RCA methods: 5 Why, Fishbone, and problem-solving frameworks
- Proficient in data visualization and digital tools (Excel, Power BI, Power Apps)
- Understanding of production and operational processes, especially in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
- Ability to interpret and act on KPI trends and performance metrics
- Familiar with filling process mechanism
