Job Requirements:
- Marine Engineer or Naval Architect preferred
- Minimum 5–9 years relevant experience, with at least 2 in a docking lead role
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel systems, repair processes, and classification standards
- Project management skills with budgeting and scheduling expertise
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee vessel drydocking activities (commercial and technical)
- Prepare drydock specifications, scope of work, and budgets
- Liaise with shipyards, class surveyors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution
- Monitor progress, safety, quality, and timelines during docking
- Ensure all repairs, surveys, and modifications meet regulatory standards
- Control costs and approve variations where necessary
- Prepare post-docking reports and cost analysis
- Maintain records of docking history, lessons learned, and improvement actions
- Collaborating with Technical Superintendents and procurement teams
