The Executive Assistant to Director is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and business support to the Director, ensuring effective coordination of daily activities, client management, and business operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Director, including managing calendar, meetings, correspondence, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and review reports, presentations, and documentation related to business and underwriting matters.
- Assist in client communication, including coordination of proposals, quotation requests, and policy documentation.
- Support the Director in evaluating client portfolios, risk assessment, and preliminary underwriting analysis.
- Liaise with internal departments (Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Finance) to ensure smooth execution of business processes.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor business pipelines, renewal schedules, and follow up on pending underwriting submissions or client requirements.
- Support business review and reporting activities, including preparation of summary data or analysis for management discussion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any major (preferably from Business Administration, Insurance, or related field)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as Executive Assistant, preferably supporting senior management in financial services or insurance industry.
- Exposure to underwriting process or insurance operations is a strong advantage.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of general insurance products and workflow.
- Excellent communication (English & Bahasa) and stakeholder management skills
- Able to analyze documents or data related to risk, quotation, or client portfolio.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital collaboration tools.
- Discreet, proactive, and business-minded.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
