Qualifications:

  • Master's in economics, public/business administration, or social sciences desirable;
  • 3–5 years with consulting, donor, research, or financial institutions;
  • Experience in CICO, DFS, payments, or financial inclusion is an added advantage;
  • Strong writing and presentation skills in English, with the ability to produce high-quality reports, learning agendas, and client deliverables;
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence in engaging and presenting to diverse stakeholders;
  • Solid quantitative and qualitative research skills, with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights;
  • Proven networking and relationship-building capabilities, particularly within the banking, FinTech, and digital finance sectors;
  • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated passion for social impact and the development sector;
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable: management consulting, public policy and government relations, process re-engineering and digital transformation, project management or program implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and applied research.

Job Description:

  • Support the team on market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes;
  • Support senior leadership to pitch and write concept notes and proposals, respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals), and negotiate contracts with clients;
  • Author/Co-author thematic publications (Blogs/Focus notes/Briefing notes)
  • Actively engage in social media promotions and marketing;
  • Provide support on consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction;
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients in a clear, concise, and compelling manner, leveraging data-driven insights and persuasive communication skills;
  • Contribute to the development of MSC's toolkits and other publications;
  • Invest in self-development by acquiring skills and knowledge which contribute to the organization's business;
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the organization.
