About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Export Customer Service & Documentation professional to join our team at PT Honour Lane Shipping in Surabaya, East Java. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service and ensuring accurate documentation for our export operations. Your expertise and attention to detail will be critical in supporting our clients and maintaining the integrity of our shipping processes.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding sea cargo inquiries and shipments
  • Handle approved customer orders for onward shipment and ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Liaising with clients to understand their export requirements and provide guidance on documentation
  • Preparing and reviewing all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Applying ISF and AMS for Trade A
  • Keep close liaise with pricing for buying rate and agent for selling rate.
  • Providing timely updates and resolving any customer inquiries or issues
  • Maintaining accurate records and data for reporting and audit purposes
  • Continuously improving processes and identifying opportunities to enhance customer experience

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in export customer service or documentation within the shipping/logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation requirements, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and IT systems
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Fluency in English
  • Familiar with ISF, AMS, ENS, ACI, eManifest, filing
  • Willing to be stationed in Surabaya office
