About the role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Drafter & Estimator to join our team in West Jakarta, Jakarta on a contract basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing technical drafting and estimating support to our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings and schematics using CAD software
- Conduct thorough material take-offs and cost estimates for MEP components and systems
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop accurate and comprehensive project estimates
- Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and project requirements
- Provide technical support and problem-solving during the construction phase
- Maintain detailed records and documentation for all estimating and drafting activities
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience as an MEP Drafter or Estimator in the construction industry
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, for the creation of detailed MEP drawings
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and cost estimating principles
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex technical information
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with project teams
- Familiarity with construction-related regulations, codes, and standards
