OverviewThe Key Account Manager will be the primary point of contact for customers from Epiroc, maintaining strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving market share growth across mining, construction, and quarry sectors.
Responsibilities- Act as the primary contact for customers, maintaining very good relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction in all aspects and produce correct proposals that meet customer expectations.
- Identify growth opportunities for existing and potential customers.
- Cover all customer segments: mining owners, mining contractors, drilling and blasting contractors, drilling exploration, mining consultants.
- Represent all mining methods on surface and underground, including technology.
- Secure business in customers where our machines are not yet deployed.
- Win market share in target customer populations.
- Drive revenue from high‑value customers.
- Monitor emerging markets and anticipate industry trends.
- Participate in industry associations related to construction, quarry, and mining.
- Bachelor’s degree with a technical major in mining or geology preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in drilling, exploration, or mining technology sectors.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Strategic thinking, planning, and business development acumen.
- Strong customer relationship management experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Knowledge of technical features, benefits, and applications of Epiroc products.
