Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Italian Chef located in Jakarta. The Italian Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Italian dishes, both traditional and contemporary. The Chef will also design and update the menu, ensure the quality of ingredients, and oversee the kitchen staff. Effective management of kitchen inventory and compliance with health and safety standards are crucial aspects of the role. Additionally, the Italian Chef will collaborate with other staff to create a memorable dining experience for guests.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Italian cooking techniques and ingredients
  • Menu design and culinary creativity
  • Ability to manage kitchen staff and operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a high-volume kitchen is a plus
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
