Club Manager - Sport Facility
with the expectation of hands-on operational management, financial stewardship, customer service leadership, and community development to maximize court utilization, revenue, and member satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day operations, including court scheduling, bookings, payments, and ensuring the smooth running of the facility and equipment (pro shop, changing rooms, lounge).
- Ensure all surrounding facilities are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
- Expertly manage the club's booking software and Point of Sale (POS) system to optimize court occupancy and track essential operational data.
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue beyond court rental.
- Proactively seek, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and sponsorships with local businesses and relevant brands to create new revenue streams.
- Oversee the club's budget, manage inventory, control operating expenses, and provide accurate weekly/monthly performance reports to the owner.
- Serve as the primary face of the club, fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all players. Actively manage and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise all club staff (administrators, court attendants, and coaches).
- Conduct regular staff performance reviews and motivate the team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role
within the sports, fitness, hospitality, or recreation industry. Having experiences in
Padel
business is a major plus. - Proven experience managing a P&L and operating budgets.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building a loyal community base.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and mentor a small team effectively.
- Ability to handle issues (maintenance, bookings, customer disputes) quickly, calmly, and effectively.
