Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Ophthalmic business unit, including strategy development, P&L management, and business growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ophthalmology associations, eye hospitals, clinics, and healthcare regulators.
- Develop and execute business plans, annual budgets, and strategies for new product launches and portfolio expansion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Oversee pricing strategy, channel distribution (hospitals, clinics, optical retail), and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to achieve business targets.
Requirements:
- Minimum
8 years of managerial experience
in the
ophthalmic industry
(medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or eye-care related). - Proven track record in building networks with ophthalmologists, associations, hospitals, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the ophthalmic market landscape, including industry trends, pricing structures, and distribution channels.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement strategic business plans, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
