The Opportunity
As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering structural and civil engineering solutions for infrastructure projects across transport, energy, water, and resources sectors. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence and sustainable outcomes.

This role is based in Jakarta Office.

Your role in our team

  • Act as Structural Engineer on selected infrastructure projects (roads, rail, maritime) ensuring successful delivery.
  • Perform structural analysis, including computer modeling, detailed calculations, and design development.
  • Prepare and review structural design documents (specifications, drawings, details) for compliance with project standards.
  • Oversee quality of deliverables and ensure adherence to technical requirements.
  • Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams for integrated project outcomes.
  • Support compliance with ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Contribute to regional and global initiatives aligned with Arup's vision and strategy.

Is This Role Right for You?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in infrastructure structural and civil design.
  • Strong technical expertise in heavy civil structures (bridges, tunnels, maritime).
  • Familiarity with Indonesian and international design codes and standards.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software and ability to guide team members.
  • Indonesian licenses (SKA/SKK & STRI) desirable.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
