Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing strategic guidance and performance coaching.

The Presales Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and solution design to prospective customers. As a key member of Faspay, the Presales Specialist bridges the gap between the technical capabilities of our solutions and the business needs of potential customers, ensuring a seamless and compelling client experience throughout the sales process.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Consultation: Collaborate with the sales team to understand prospect requirements and tailor payment gateway solutions that address their technical, operational and business needs.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of payment gateway services.
- Solution Design: Analyse prospect requirements and design customised payment integration solutions, including APIs, SDKs, and platform capabilities.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Develop and lead PoC projects, guiding clients through trial implementations to validate solution fit and performance in the prospect’s environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a technical liaison between clients, internal teams (such as product, engineering, finance operation, IT operation and support), and third‑party vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Competitive Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging payment technologies to inform solution positioning and product enhancements.
- Sales Training and Enablement: Provide training and technical support to internal sales teams and external partners on payment gateway products and integration best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in presales, sales engineering, or technical consulting, preferably within the fintech or payment gateway industry.

About the role: As a Presales Engineer you will bridge the gap between our sales and technical teams, delivering compelling solution pitches for IBM technologies, data platforms, and custom software development services. This full‑time role is based in South Jakarta, Jakarta.
What you’ll be doing- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and craft tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver high‑impact product demos, POCs, and presentations to showcase capabilities in IBM platforms, data solutions, and custom development.
- Translate complex technical features into clear business value propositions.
- Lead technical discussions with prospective customers, including C‑level and technical stakeholders.
- Work with solution architects and developers to create proposals, solution blueprints, and estimates.
- Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and create technical documentation and solution narratives.
- Stay updated on IBM products, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
- 3–5 years in a technical presales, solution consulting, or solution engineering role.
- Strong understanding of IBM ecosystem (e.g., IBM Cloud, IBM API Connect, IBM Maximo, IBM DataStage, IBM Watson).
- Experience with data platforms (e.g., data lakes, analytics, integration, governance).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client‑facing skills.
- Ability to write clear, concise proposals and solution documents.
- Provide response to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP).
- Conduct and manage Proofs of Concept (PoC) activity.
- Work with Sales Personnel to provide product and technical solution that meets customer needs.
