Job Purpose:
To leverage deep technical expertise in wood coatings to provide exceptional, outcome-based service to US buyers & customers. This role is critical technical bridge between buyer expectation, customers' needs, sales team's strategy, TS & Lab team's capabilities, ensuring that finish recommendations are technically sound, commercially viable, and delivering on promised performance.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive Technical Support: Use expert knowledge of wood coatings and performance to empower sales team, providing technical details needed to close deals with US buyers
- Deliver Outcome-Focused Proposals: Lead technical discussions with US buyers to diagnose needs and prescribe coating solutions. Develop proposals that specific performance outcomes (e.g., adhesion, hardness, gloss, scratch resistance, low VOC and other specific requirements
- Bridge Customer with TS & Lab: Act as vital link between US buyer requirements and internal technical teams. Translate customer needs into clear briefs for TS & Lab teams
- Manage Technical Projects: Own the technical execution of projects, ensuring recommendations from lab are feasible for TS to implement and meet US buyers & customer's promised outcome
- Ensure Solution Delivery: Collaborate with TS team to validate solutions at customer's facilities, ensuring the final finish fulfils buyer's performance and aesthetic needs
- Deal with US buyers & customers, on behalf of company, regarding to color panels, spraying schedule, technical requirement and relevant technical problem solving if any
Education and Experience:
- Organizational Leadership
- 15 years above Furniture Finishing Experienced and well knowing problem-solving skills
- Better Customer Relationship
- Establishing US Buyer Connection
- Communication in English, Indonesia & Chinese
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Result driven, can work well under pressure
- Bachelor degree/master degree
