We are looking for an experienced, hands-on, and integrity people as Human Resource Manager with deep experience working in western PT PMA manufacturing companies to perform managerial and strategic human resource development to build world-class manufacturing company. Our HRD Manager will be manage and be the core of strategic human resource development life cycle, analyze business and operation needs to achieve company business goals. The HRD Manager will rely on his or her education and experience to develop company culture and risk identification into knowledge and a deeper understanding of the business situation that will ultimately be used to guide and support informed decision-making.

Oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. Support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives.

The goal is to promote corporate values and enable business success through human resources management, including job design, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, training & development, employment cycle changes, talent management, and facilities management services.

Key Role

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Monitor, control, plan and evaluate the overall process and activities HR Department (HRIS, Payroll, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Recruitment, Training, General Affairs.)
  • Develop and manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Hire the right people to build a worldclass manufacturing company.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
  • Develop and nurture a learning culture and a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop and maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Develop a unique company culture in learning and developing competencies.
  • Assess training needs and implement appropriate training programs and monitor training programs to make improvements.
  • Develop appropriate HR metrics for management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Managing the extension of company licenses, Foreign Workers and other permits.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Reviewing the contract agreement, cooperation, and other legalities.
  • Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
  • Develop, review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks.
  • Planning, project management and coordination to manage multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the implementation of Compliance standard, HSE regulations, Buyer Social Compliance Guidelines, requirements, standards, and Sustainability Programs.
  • Planning and performing factory audits for standard or certification including management system.
  • Management of factory audit results to ensure CAP follow-ups and factory performances is documented and shared with the relevant parties.
  • Develop leaders in HR team and train HR team to be professional HR staff
Skills, Abilities and Characteristics
  • Experienced in managing factories owned by foreign or western companies in Indonesia.
  • Solid experience in manufacturing operations especially in consumer goods made of plastics and stainless steel.
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating, managing and coordinating with employees at all levels.
  • Results driven with ability to plan and deliver against deadlines and targets.
  • Hands-on experienced in implementing continuous improvement programs and utilizing Six Sigma tools, methodologies and related continuous improvement tools, in similar manufacturing environment, which includes analyzing, organizing and leading managers in implementing a continuous improvement program at a facility, will be considered as strong advantage.
  • A dynamic person with personal initiative, team player and exceptional leadership skills.

  • An energetic self-starter who thrives on building and changing an organization.
  • Effective communication skills with the capacity to succinctly convey ideas, primarily in English (basic Chinese as secondary language an advantage).
  • Ability to use good verbal and written communication skills to interact, inspire and collaborate effectively with staff and team members at all levels at this facility in Bahasa and English with our foreign staff of all levels also (ability to speak Mandarin Chinese will be a big advantage).

Requirement
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience in the same position with foreign factory.
  • Fluent English, Chinese speaking is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills are vital for this role.
