Job Description

In‑Room Dining Server ensures a seamless and exceptional dining experience for guests in the privacy and comfort of their rooms. The server is responsible for delivering personalised and attentive service, taking and accurately recording guest orders, coordinating with the kitchen and bar staff for order preparation, and ensuring that orders are delivered promptly, maintaining the desired quality and presentation. With a focus on providing outstanding guest service, the server plays a pivotal role in upholding the hotel's reputation for luxury, attentiveness, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. A relevant certification or vocational training in hospitality or food service will be advantageous.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: A solid understanding of food and beverage items, including menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and wine and beverage pairing.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure order accuracy, proper presentation, and adherence to service standards.
  • Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver orders within designated time frames.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to handle prolonged periods of standing, walking and carrying trays of food and beverages.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Professionalism: Polished appearance, grooming and dress code compliance, strong work ethic and commitment to the hotel's reputation.
