About the Role:
Greenimpact are seeking for a hands-on and mission-driven Solar PV Engineer to support our expanding portfolio of renewable energy projects, especially in the solar field. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the effective design, planning, and implementation of solar systems across various field locations across Indonesia, especially to perform service, warranty and operation & maintenance duties. This role is ideal for someone who's technically capable to manage & lead project implementations, eager to be on the ground, and passionate about scaling clean energy solutions in Indonesia.
This position is available for immediate start.
How you'll make impact:
- Assist in the design, planning, and implementation of solar PV systems for residential, commercial, industrial, or utility-scale projects.
- Conduct site surveys, resource assessments, and technical feasibility studies in the field to perform service, warranty and operation maintenance duties.
- Support the preparation of detailed system layouts, single-line diagrams, and electrical designs.
- Collaborate with service managers, project managers, procurement teams, and field technicians during installation and commissioning phases.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Perform performance testing and assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, diagnostics, and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) support, as well as the obtained data analysis from monitoring systems.
- Deliver technical reports, documentation, and recommendations to clients or senior engineers.
- Work with OEMs to determine warranty status of installed equipment.
- Fill out Service Work Orders, track travel and labor times as well as used materials for billing.
- Work in PV installation team(s) as necessary.
Who you are:
- Diploma/ITI (Industrial Training Institute)/Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
- Preferably have 1–2 years minimum experience as a Solar PV Installer.
- Applicants should be comfortable with extensive on-site assignments.
- Strong experience in installation, operation, and maintenance of rooftop solar systems (2 kWp or higher), including residential, commercial, industrial, utility-scale, grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid/battery storage systems.
- Equip analytical skills to work with datasets, generate insights, and present findings clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) to adapt to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and work independently or in a team environment.
