Accounting Assistant (Work-from-Home – Indonesia)
Job Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote (Indonesia-based candidates only)
About the Role
We are seeking a mid-level Accounting Assistant to support our accounting operations remotely from Indonesia. This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using Xero and other accounting tools. You'll be part of a collaborative remote team supporting daily accounting and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily data entry of invoices, receipts, and financial transactions into Xero.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain well-organized digital financial records.
- Generate basic financial reports and summaries upon request.
- Support ad-hoc accounting admin tasks (e.g., digital filing, responding to internal emails).
- Collaborate remotely with team members to resolve data discrepancies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years experience in accounting or finance-related roles.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and other productivity tools.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a remote team environment.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and Indonesian tax practices is a plus.
Work Schedule
- Full-time: 5 days per week
- 9 hours per day, including breaks (Total: 45 hours/week)
Salary
- IDR 7,500,000 – 10,000,000/month
(Approximately USD $490 – $650/month)
