About the Role
Heyvisa is looking for a Web Designer Intern to help us improve and maintain our website You will manage the website using WordPress and Elementor while enhancing the user journey, visuals, and overall look and feel. The goal is to make sure visitors enjoy a smooth and engaging experience.
This role is a good fit if you enjoy design and technology and want hands-on experience working on a real startup website.
What You Will Do
- Create and update pages in Elementor based on business needs
- Improve the design, visuals, and user flow of the website
- Upload and format content such as blogs, banners, and campaign pages
- Ensure the website is mobile friendly, fast, and easy to navigate
- Manage plugins, themes, and basic settings in WordPress
- Support the team with visuals and landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Monitor and flag any issues such as broken links or slow performance
Requirements
- Semester 5 or higher, final year student, or recent graduate (any major is welcome)
- Familiar with WordPress and Elementor from class projects, freelance work, or personal projects
- Good sense of design such as colors, fonts, layouts, and user experience
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Comfortable using online collaboration tools such as Google Drive or Slack
- Bonus if you know Canva, Figma, or basic HTML and CSS
