About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Korean Translator to join our team at PT Duniatex Group in Central Java. As a fulltime Korean Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication and understanding between our company and our Korean stakeholders and partners. What you'll be doing
- Translate a variety of documents, including business correspondence, reports, presentations, and other materials between Korean and Indonesian/English
- Interpret during meetings, negotiations, and other business interactions with Korean clients and colleagues
- Proofread and edit translated materials to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Serve as a cultural liaison, providing guidance on etiquette and customs to facilitate smoother cross-cultural interactions
- Maintain a terminology database to ensure consistent use of industry-specific terminology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's international operations and strategic initiatives
What we're looking for
- Fluency in both Korean and Indonesian/English, with the ability to translate between the languages with a high degree of accuracy and cultural sensitivity
- Proven experience as a professional translator, preferably in a business or corporate environment
- Strong writing and editing skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with translation tools and technologies, such as computer-assisted translation software
- Adaptability and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
