Role Overview
The Market Intelligence Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's strategic decisions by conducting in-depth market research, analyzing consumer behaviors, and mapping future industry trends. This position requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to transform research findings into actionable insights that directly influence product development, marketing, and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct in-depth research on historical and future trends in the consumer installment market.
- Monitor market changes, including interest rate fluctuations, emerging technologies, and competitive shifts.
- Provide systematic insights into competitors' strategies, product features, and market shares.
Consumer Insights
Map target segments and explore consumer decision-making journeys, including purchasing motivations, preferences, and pain points.
- Identify segmentation opportunities and define specific target audiences for tailored solutions.
- Support product positioning and marketing activities using methods such as surveys and interviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Product Development, Marketing, Business Operations, and Sales teams to ensure research findings are effectively implemented.
- Present research insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Regulatory & Industry Knowledge
Maintain a deep understanding of relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices in the finance and consumer installment industries.
- Ensure research outputs align with compliance requirements while maintaining market competitiveness.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, Sociology, Psychology, or related fields.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in market research, within consumer installment or financial services.
- Currently in managerial or strategic level roles.
- Proven ability to deliver actionable insights that drive strategic decisions to the senior management team.
Technical & Analytical Expertise:
Strong data analysis and visualization skills.
- Proficiency in market research tools, data analysis software, and AI applications.
Professional Skills:
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and stakeholders.
