Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate garment patterns using tech packs, sketches, and samples
- Execute full-scale pattern grading across all required sizes (XS–XXL, etc.)
- Ensure fit and silhouette consistency for each size
- Collaborate with designers, sample room, and production teams to create prototypes
- Analyze fitting sessions and implement feedback to improve patterns
- Utilize CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex) for digital pattern making and marker planning
- Optimize pattern layouts for fabric efficiency and sustainability
- Prepare and manage technical drawings and pattern files
- Troubleshoot pattern and grading issues during mass production
- Participate in process improvement and quality innovation activities
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in pattern making/grading within apparel manufacturing (OEM/ODM preferred)
- Proficient in flat pattern making, draping, and independent sample modification
- Skilled in grading rules and garment construction/sewing
- Advanced user of pattern CAD software (Gerber, Lectra, Optitex)
- Knowledge of various fabrics (knit, denim, woven, etc.)
- High mathematical accuracy in pattern and grading
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration abilities
- Problem-solving and adaptability in multicultural workplaces
- English proficiency required (Bahasa Indonesia or other languages an advantage)⠀
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field
- Experience in Southeast Asian garment manufacturing (Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, etc.)
- Knowledge of sustainable/zero-waste pattern making
- End-to-end production or cross-functional project experience
