WHAT WE SEEK?
The Product Manager will play a critical role in the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role requires proficiency in project management software tools, specifically Jira, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the project manager in defining the project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress, using project management tools such as Jira
- Coordinate and communicate project status to stakeholders and management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Assist in maintaining project budgets and resources
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure team members are updated on project developments
- Support the Project Manager in managing change requests and scope control
- Act as a bridge between the project teams and stakeholders
- Facilitate project meetings, document project progress, and report on project status to stakeholders
- Participate in testing software applications to identify bugs and defects
- Support project budget tracking and management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of product management experience
Proficiency in using Jira and other project management tools
Proficiency in implementing Agile methodologies to manage project timelines, sprints, and deliverables effectively.
- Experience in strategizing and planning product roadmaps aligned with business goals and market needs. Ability to create comprehensive documentation outlining features, timelines, and priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership in fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams including development, design, marketing, and QA to ensure unified efforts and efficient product delivery.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge to understand and communicate technical requirements, challenges, and solutions effectively.
- Knowledge and advocacy for superior user experience (UX), integrating insights into design and functionality decisions to meet user needs and expectations.
- Ability to apply business acumen in making informed decisions, aligning product development with company objectives, and identifying market opportunities.
- Critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations objectively, evaluate risks, and devise solutions that optimize product performance and user satisfaction.
- Proficiency in data analysis to interpret metrics, trends, and user feedback for driving informed product decisions and continuous improvement.
- Capability to conduct thorough research on market trends, competitors, and user needs to identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation.
- Proven ability to employ problem-solving skills to address complex issues swiftly, mitigate risks, and maintain momentum in product development.
- Skill in managing multiple tasks and initiatives by effectively prioritizing activities based on strategic importance, resource availability, and market demands.
A PLUS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems, order management systems, and other restaurant-specific technology
- Familiarity with remote troubleshooting techniques
- Certification in project management and software tools
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to manage relationships
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
