Job Description:
As a Layer 1 NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, identifying, and performing initial troubleshooting of network and server infrastructure issues, initial diagnostics such as ping, traceroute, and port checks, and escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier teams with clear documentation.
This role serves as the first line of defense to ensure service uptime and smooth network operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma's degree in System Information or similiar fields.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Understanding of data center and cloud fundamentals.
- Ability to identify, isolate, and escalate connectivity issues.
- Knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching concepts.
- Awareness of internet protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, etc.).
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki products and dashboard management.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Grafana or similar).
- Experience and able to troubleshoot on the wireless network infrastructure issues
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Willing to work in shift system
