Perform sensory evaluations and cupping sessions using Q Grader standards to assess coffee quality, flavor, and consistency.
Inspect raw materials (green beans, roasted beans, ingredients) to ensure they meet company and industry quality specifications.
Monitor production processes (roasting, grinding, brewing, packaging) to ensure compliance with QC protocols.
Conduct routine product testing for flavor, aroma, moisture, density, and shelf-life performance.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, specifications, and testing records.
Investigate quality deviations or defects and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with production, R&D, and sourcing teams to maintain consistent product quality across batches.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO, or other regulatory requirements.
Train staff on quality standards, sensory techniques, and proper handling processes to maintain product integrity.
Provide expert feedback using Q Grader calibration to support product improvement, sourcing decisions, and new product development.
