  • Perform sensory evaluations and cupping sessions using Q Grader standards to assess coffee quality, flavor, and consistency.

  • Inspect raw materials (green beans, roasted beans, ingredients) to ensure they meet company and industry quality specifications.

  • Monitor production processes (roasting, grinding, brewing, packaging) to ensure compliance with QC protocols.

  • Conduct routine product testing for flavor, aroma, moisture, density, and shelf-life performance.

  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including SOPs, specifications, and testing records.

  • Investigate quality deviations or defects and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Collaborate with production, R&D, and sourcing teams to maintain consistent product quality across batches.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO, or other regulatory requirements.

  • Train staff on quality standards, sensory techniques, and proper handling processes to maintain product integrity.

  • Provide expert feedback using Q Grader calibration to support product improvement, sourcing decisions, and new product development.
