About the role
PT VOKSEL ELECTRIC Tbk. is seeking an experienced Procurement Staff to join our team in Cileungsi, West Java. As a Procurement Staff, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective procurement of goods and services, with a focus on export-import operations. This full-time role is crucial in supporting the company's manufacturing and logistics objectives.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for export-import goods and services
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible terms and pricing
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential partners
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support production and logistics
- Monitor and report on procurement performance, identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with business needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement or sourcing role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Proficiency in export-import processes and regulations
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
