PT Synergy Engineering is a multidisciplinary engineering consultant providing high-quality services in the Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial sectors. We specialize in conceptual design, FEED, DED, and EPC support for both local and international projects.

We are currently looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Instrument Designer with experience using SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI / INtools) to join our growing team.

Requirements

  • Minimum education SMU in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Min. 5 years of experience as Instrument Designer, preferably in Oil & Gas sector.
  • Familiar with Instrument, Control, and Telecommunication Engineering Design in AutoCAD, SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation), and Instrument Drawings.
  • Strong technical / engineering skills with a thorough knowledge of applicable Codes and Standards in engineering fields.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
  • Domiciled in and willing to be placed at Synergy Engineering (BSD, South Tangerang)

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain instrument indexes and databases using SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI/INtools).
  • Prepare and update instrument deliverables, including data sheets, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and hookup drawings.
  • Generate I/O lists, material take-offs, and instrument location drawings based on project specifications.
  • Coordinate closely with process, electrical, and control system teams to ensure design consistency and accuracy.
  • Update SPI database according to latest P&ID revisions and engineering changes.
  • Support instrument tagging and numbering in line with project standards.
  • Assist during project construction and commissioning by maintaining as-built documentation.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with project requirements, international standards, and QA/QC procedures.
